Abstract

The present study wants to know what kind of resources teachers of early childhood education use at class. To achieve this objective, this article presents the results of a quantitative research conducted through a survey of teachers (n = 111). From the data collected, it has been possible to assess which are the most and least used. For this reason, we can say that the physical book is the favourite medium, while electronic books are the least used. In addition, to complete the investigation the different resources have been correlated with the course and the taste for reading by teachers. The general results show that there are resources linked to the first cycle, and others that are especially used in the second cycle. The enjoyment of reading, however, does not appear to be a variable for which statistically significant differences exist.
