Abstract

From 1936 through the 19th Century, dozens of Galician teachers worked as docents in Ibero-America. In the present case, we refer to the child of a Galician father and mother, born in Argentina. This is the case of the remarkable and well-known pedagogue Luis F. Iglesias who worked as a teacher in rural schools, supported the “New School”, was a didactic teacher, a designer of teaching materials, an educator of teachers in various locations across the Americas, and associated to other remarkable Latin-American educators, with Galicia always in his heart, as is described here.
