The place of the canon(s) in the formation of brazilian children’s and youth literary systems
Main Article Content
Abstract
Children’s and youth literary systems, during the process of their formation and autonomization, reproduce in their interior the logic of literary consecration, which competes with didactic and commercial criteria in the construction of reference lists. At the same time, they work in a marginalized way in relation to the so-called official (or adult) literature.). For this reason they become a rich field for discussion of some issues concerning the relationship between literature, canon and literary reader development, with emphasis on the Brazilian production for children and the youth.
