Abstract
The figure of the fugitive is analyzed from the perspective of Thematology, a branch of Comparative Literature, focusing on three works of Galician postwar narrative: O siñor Afranio ou como me rispei das gadoupas da morte, Aqueles anos do Moncho and A Teima de Xan. A study of the works, according to their content and structure is provided, along with the analysis of the figure of runaway and its implications, as well as a review of its mythic conception.
