Resumo

Este estudo ofrece unha análise das cubertas de Bambi: Unha vida na fraga de Félix Salten, poñendo o foco na edición orixinal en alemán e nas súas traducións ao inglés. Examínase como os elementos visuais desas capas inflúen nas expectativas dos lectores antes de entrar en contacto co texto. Utilizando unha abordaxe cualitativa, observacional e interpretativa, o artigo analiza a evolución dos deseños das capas ao longo de case 100 anos, dende a edición alemá de 1923 até traducións contemporáneas en inglés. O estudo investiga como esas representacións visuais abordan temas como a conciencia ecolóxica, o crecemento persoal e cuestións sociais, e como reflicten mudanzas culturais e estéticas máis amplas. Estilos de arte de capa, que varían dende o realismo detallado até a abstracción minimalista, son explorados para entender o seu papel na formación da interpretación da narrativa. Esta análise resalta a importancia de Bambi na literatura infantil e xuvenil, a súa conexión con cuestións ambientais e sociais e a súa relevancia universal ao longo de diferentes contextos históricos e culturais.
