La metrología renacentista: análisis científico y lexicográfico

Abstract

In this paper firstly we attempt to release the lists of terms of weights and measures contained in some mathematical works of the Renaissance. Secondly, it is accomplished an analysis of these lexicographical materials along with other nomenclatures about this specialized field, as De mensuris and De ponderibus of Antonio de Nebrija. Finally, it is shown the interest in the collection and popularization of this vocabulary and it is tried to show also the need for these lexical inventories to complete the study of the history of this terminology
