Abstract

This text intends to reflect on the young adults books published in the Dois Passos e Um Salto collection, from Planeta Tangerina, adopting the Cultural Studies critical perspective, but in dialogue with Literary Studies. This means it will be necessary to position these books regarding not only the literary dimension, but also other layers of reading and analysis. In this analytical perspective, questions of legitimacy will be addressed, concerning power relations between canon and periphery; it will also be considered the literary hybridism and artistic multimodality themes, in their transgression aspects concerning the idea of literary genres and borders between artistic languages; and, still, the articulation dimensions between language and representations of the world, in particular the repetition and innovation dynamics. The aim is not to exhaustively analyze all the books, but rather to allow other interpretative paths to emerge from them and to understand how can they also be seen as resistance processes.
