This presentation intends to ponder on the transfiguration processwhich operates on the animal presence throughout the poetical fictionby Lupe Gómez and on its importance for the construction of apoetical autobiography which, following the lines of thought byHaraway (1991) could be characterised as close to the ciborgue, placing itself, like this one does, on the point wherein the border betweenthe human and the animal is violated. Besides, Lupe Gómez,as an autobiographical construction within the poetical fiction by theauthoress, attempts to occupy this non-location, between the humanand the animal. Starting from the reading of Derrida (2008) togetherwith the inquiry into the possibility of an animal viewpoint on theman-woman, we will attempt to analyse the poetical fiction by LupeGómez by centring ourselves on the construction of that spacewherein the difference between the human and the animal blursand wherein the creation of another humanity is prefigured, onthe “point of view of the absolute other” (Derrida, 2008).
