The aim of this paper is to define the shape formed by the discourse of the Baroque on the map of modernity, investigating the role that discourse has led as a form of critical construction of a present. This is a review through some of the authors of philosophy, film, theater and literature that have contributed to the construction of this baroque imaginary of the modernity.
