Abstract
Through the analysis of unpublished documents from the Archive of the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, this paper collects data that allow us to identify or define with greater precision the biographical profiles of various Galician-Portuguese poets. Three cartularies have been examined, specifically: the Tombo C, the First Book of Tenency, and the Second Book of Constitutions. They provide information of diverse nature with regard to Afonso Eanes do Cotom, Bernardo de Bonaval, Juião Bolseiro, Martim Moxa, Nuno Fernandes Torneol, Paio de Cana, Paio Gomes Charinho, Pedro Meogo, and other minor figures. The aspect with greatest interest is their relationship to the Compostelan environment, especially the clerical world of the Cathedral. The article contains a “Documentary appendix” with the total or partial edition of the diplomas that have been considered
