Os nomes de lugar e a dialectoloxía: algunhas consideracións sobre as variantes locais do galego e a súa atestación nos topónimos

Abstract

This work treats the relations between some phenomenons of local linguistic variation and the toponyms. Generally, the local distributions of some characteristics are maintained in the names of place. In occasions, however, we aren’t able to detect an exact equivalence between the present dialectal phenomenons of the current synchrony and the form of the toponyms.
