Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es el de explicar las irregularidades flexivas en futuro y condicional a través de un análisis nanosintáctico en el que la irregularidad surge de la rivalidad entre exponentes que compiten para materializar el mismo espacio sintáctico. El análisis propone que los verbos irregulares en estas formas almacenan un exponente que lexicaliza parte del material funcional del área del modo; estos exponentes, cuando están presentes, se usan también en modo imperativo, lo cual explica que los verbos irregulares en imperativo también lo sean en futuro y condicional.
