Abstract
In this article we present an innovative experience of using web 2.0 and open source tools to support the creation, production and dissemination of online collaborative projects in higher education. The experience developed into the framework of the course “ICT Competences”, in the Audiovisual Communication degree at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya combines three teaching strategies in an e-learning environment: the project-based learning method, the collaborative work and the collective creation in a virtual environment. It is our intention to present the objectives, the development stages and the results obtained in the evaluation of the experience implemented.
