These two novels have been compared to three contemporary male authorship novels: Zoaz infernura, laztana, by Anjel Lertzundi; Zureak egin du, by Iñaki Friera, and Golgota, by Xabier Montoya. The topic of the first two novels is the abuse, and the third one adds the topic of domestic violence to women during war times.
