Pina Bausch e Lloyd Newson. O teatro na danza, a danza no teatro físico

Abstract

The relations between dance and theatre, the confrontation between both of them and the mutual influence generates a deep exchange and crossbreeding in the material, formal and of contents,establishing a new and controversial field of analysis on new scenic narratives. In this sense both the work of the choreographer Pina Bausch and the work of the director Lloyd Newson are situatedin a liminal area between dance and the physical theater where the interventions and the practical examples are crossed and converge in innovative performances of deep emotion.
