PhD Candidate in Translation & Paratranslation at Universidade de Vigo, where she belongs to the BiFeGa research group. Research fellow in Galician Phraseology and a member of the Cadernos de Fraseoloxía Galega journal editorial board at Centro Ramón Piñeiro para a Investigación en Humanidades (Santiago de Compostela, Spain). She holds a BA in Translation & Interpreting from Universidade de Vigo and MSSc in East Asian Studies with specialization in Japanese Studies from Universidad de Salamanca. Her main research interests include the representation of identities (especially, Otherness) in Pop Culture and the adaptations of  folk and fairy tales to contemporary contexts, as well as the analysis of cultural translation and Children's and Young Adult Literature.
