Colaboraciones de Ramón Pérez de Ayala en "El Progreso de Asturias"

Abstract

This work accounts for the interest in researching Oviedo’s early 20th-century newspaper El Progreso de Asturias. This newspaper’s collection, although incomplete, has been both maintained and digitalized. It was in this newspaper where the journalistic collaborations by Ramón Pérez de Ayala started. This work reports on those collaborations made during the three-year period of that century, paying particular attention to the circumstances of the young writer’s biography and to the local context which gives a better understanding of the newspaper articles published.
