Abstract

This paper revolves around educational innovation through the synergy of two projects developed at the Faculty of Education of the University of València: Ieducarts and L’Hort 2.0. The first, Ieducarts, addresses teaching innovation from an interdisciplinary and global approach. The project offers students a platform on which to harmoniously integrate multiple aspects of the curriculum. L’Hort 2.0 aims to create a virtual environment based on the research school garden for the administration and hosting of ICT content that contributes to the development of key competences. The objective of this study is to use the School Garden as an educational resource capable of interdisciplinary integration of the curricular contents of the Primary and Infant Teacher Degrees from a research and collaborative perspective, promoting the transfer of knowledge and the resolution of problems in situations real and complex through actions centered on students.

The results show a high degree of satisfaction on the part of the participants in the activities developed, as well as the verification of their effectiveness as facilitators of autonomy, the understanding of the interrelated contents and the usefulness of Huerto in the primary classroom.
