On ‘building’ societies, the respect for human diversity should be emphasized by using all available resources that ensure that all citizens have equal opportunities when participating in social life and work. Most support programs launched over the years have been directed mainly towards offsetting the disadvantages of persons with disabilities and not their qualifications to participate in different spheres of life. The university, as a public authority, should guarantee the right of formation or training, including people with disabilities through the implementation of cross training policies aimed at all kinds of spaces, products and services of the university life. Only then we could face, positively, universal accessibility. This brings us to implement, in our immediate context, a study on the situation that enables the establishment of keys for the design of support services targeted primarily to students with disabilities as well as teachers. We present some of the data from this larger study (taken of its quantitative phase), specifically data related to the employment of this group at risk. Also we will present the situation of disabled people with superior degree in Galicia regarding to his work market integration.
