From literary narrative to comic: The Diary of Anne Frank

Abstract
The Dairy of Anne Frank is one of the most well-known books about the holocaust. It has been translated to 70 languages in the last decade and inspired many artistic expressions: stage play, movies, musicals and comics. This work aims to review, from his hypertext condition, of one of his latest comic adaptation by Ari Folma and David Polonsky. We’ll point out its discursive qualities aiming to highlight the connections that comic books can establish between the reader and the literary artistic text, cause as well as in other ways, demands from the reader: critical attitude, certain visual acuity for the scrutiny of the page, knowledge, cultural baggage to identify hipotext and curiosity about new creative rewriting that transforms ours ways to read/see.
