Abstract

By way of an analysis of the last book published by Victoria Camps, The Government of Emotions, National Prize for Essay 2012th, we try to highlight, following her argumentation, the importance of the motivation for moral behavior. Motivation uses instrumental reasons to promote suitable emotions and to come this way to the formation of moral character, to ethical autonomy. Feelings are educables, but we have to seek for the proper climate for that, and this is part of the task of Ethics.
