"La muerte del poeta", de Emilia Pardo Bazán, en proceso: de las galeradas a la primera edición

Abstract

The article at hand seeks to carry out a textual study in which a primitive version of the short novel La muerte del poeta is compared to the published version. In order to do this and also to carry out the next tasks, we have started with the corrected proofs of the text. By contrasting the original text with the corrections and with the first edition, we will defend our thesis, for this first point, about the different phases through which La muerte del poeta has passed. Next the textual analysis will deal with the study of the changes that we have identified: omissions, additions, punctuation and errors that the author has corrected
