Abstract

In this paper we would like to present an analysis of the reading habits between students at the second level of compulsory education (aged from 11 to 16), paying special attention to gender variables. Literacy between teenagers seems to be in permanent crises, that we found is a complex reality, with light and shadows, in which the schools are still the main force and actor promoting and transmitting read habits to students, with more or less success.
