Construíndo a perspectiva dun instituto de investigación educativa para Galicia

Abstract

This article outlines the perspective of building an Educational Research Institute within and to benefit the Autonomous Community of Galicia (Spain), taking into account not only, but also the evolution and current situation of the Institute of Educational Sciences (ICE) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is an inclusive project which could be coordinated between the three Galician universities. The objective is to provide adequate support to the policies focused on improving the quality of educational processes and results, stimulating collaborative synergies in terms of ideas and programs. The conclusions of the study point out the possible benefits for the existence of an Institute with the aforementioned approach and characteristics for the Autonomous Region.
