Author Guidelines

1.- In all cases the authors should reflect their institutional affiliation, and attach a brief curriculum lines in which they will take account of their main publications and provide a contact address, postal and electronic.

2.- Lenght and Abstract

Length and abstract should not exceed 20 A4 pages, typed with 1,15 spacing in Cambria 12 or equivalent for articles or notes, while long reviews should not exceed five pages and the short ones two pages.

Both articles or notes should include a summary in Spanish of about eight lines and an abstract in English. They should also include keywords in Spanish and English, in addition enclosing the title in English. Both the long and short reviews will have a title, in Spanishand English on their content and will describe the reviewed work as follows: AUTHOR, title, place, publisher, year, number of pages.

3.- All the works will be sent formatted according to the Télos 2021 template in Word (c) format or equivalent.

4. Citation System and bibliographic references
Since 2021, Télos exclusively uses the APA citation-note and final bibliographic references system (6th and following). Télos recommends using Endnote © Thomson Reuters bibliographic software in any of its versions for the preparation and presentation of papers.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

In case that a cited work (either article or book) has a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), It must be indicated in the final bibliography following the traditional reference.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The request has not been previously published, or presented to another journal (or an explanation has been given in Comments to the editor).
  • The text fulfills the bibliographic and stylistic requirements indicated in Norms for authors, which can be found in About the journal.
  • Acceptance of a paper for its publication in the journal entails the acceptance and compliance with the established Self-archiving policy.
  • If the paper contains any kind of material whose reproduction requires for permission, please indicate this circumstance (using Comments to the editor). Authors are responsible for respecting intellectual property when they reproduce materials as part of their works and must send the corresponding permissions to the journal.
    The editor, in any case, is free of any responsibility resulting from the author’s eventual violation of intellectual property rights.
  • If you are applying to a section of the journal which is reviewed by pairs, you should make sure that the instructions in Guaranteeing a blind review are followed.

Privacy Statement

In accordance with organic law 3/2018, of December 5, on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights and with EU Regulation 2016/679, the data collected will be incorporated by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in the treatment "Service of Publications and Scientific Exchange" with the purpose of managing the authors and/or managers and users of the monographic works and journals edited by the Service of Publications and Scientific Exchange.

The body responsible for said treatment is the University of Santiago de Compostela with registered office at Praza do Obradoiro s/n, 15782, Santiago de Compostela.

The justification basis for this treatment is the consent expressed by the interested parties.

Interested persons can exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, treatment limitation, opposition and portability through the USC Electronic Office

They can also contact the Spanish Agency for Data Protection to make the claim they deem appropriate.

In the case of not providing consent, the data will not be processed, but the service cannot be offered.

The data will be kept for the period in which the purpose for which they were collected is carried out, or the time necessary to comply with legal obligations. Once the purpose has been fulfilled, the data that are not part of the provision of the public service will be blocked until the applicable limitation periods have elapsed.
