Abstract
In a personal and intimate tone, the author comments on her personal and professional experience with Malaguzzi and his pedagogical approach. Three key ideas stand out in Malaguzzian pedagogy: its complex nature, its sensitivity to listening, its aesthetic power. Other attractive metaphors that Malaguzzi uses to illuminate his educational proposal are also analyzed: the hundred exists; educators as explorers; the school as a transparent fishbowl, pedagogy as an engine that energizes.
