Abstract

Researches undertaken recently have allowed us to attribute to Pedro Jalopa a leading role in the renovation of Gothic architecture in the Iberian Peninsula at the end of the 14th and the beginning of the 15th century.

Now, new archive documents, the careful review of the ones already known and, ultimately, the information provided by some of the buildings in which he worked, allow us to cast light on his eventful life course, as on his professional profile.
