Abstract

The work at hand analyzes the selection of Basque names in Spain from 2000-2017, as a complete set, and by province. It also studies the extension of Basque names in Euskal Herria and in other communities and compares the use of the same names in the mentioned areas. Previously, what is understood as a Basque name is specified, and a brief history of Basque names and their current classification is offered.
