Author Guidelines

La Revista Marco publica originales sobre los diferentes aspectos de la comunicación política, el márketing político y las campañas electorales. Deben ser artículos originales no publicados ni en proceso de revisión en otra revista. Los artículos tendrán una extensión máxima de 9.000 palabras en total, incluyendo título, palabras clave, resúmenes, bibliografía, tablas y notas al pie. Las notas de campaña tendrán una extensión máxima de 3.000 palabras.

Los manuscritos podrán estar en español, inglés o portugués. Estarán escritos en Word o similar (letra Times New Roman tamaño 12), y con las páginas numeradas consecutivamente.

En la primera página deberá figurar el título con su traducción al inglés, y un Resumen/Abstract, primero en español y después en inglés) que tendrán una extensión máxima de 150 palabras e irán seguidos de las correspondientes palabras clave y keywords (mínimo 3, máximo 5). El resumen debe exponer claramente el objetivo/s de la investigación, la metodología empleada y los principales hallazgos, entre otros.

Las notas a pié estarán numeradas consecutivamente.

Las tablas y gráficos irán numeradas con números arábigos.

Bibliografía: las referencias bibliográficas se presentarán integradas en el texto, siguiendo el formato APA. Dichas referencias tendrán su correspondencia en la lista bibliográfica al final del texto.

Finalmente el autor/ o autores deberán enviar un breve curriculum (no más de 150 palabras) en el que reflejarán su adscripción institucional.

El envío de manuscritos presupone, por parte de los autores, el conocimiento y aceptación de estas instrucciones así como de las normas editoriales.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The request has not been previously published, or presented to another journal (or an explanation has been given in Comments to the editor).
  • If the paper contains any kind of material whose reproduction requires for permission, please indicate this circumstance (using Comments to the editor). Authors are responsible for respecting intellectual property when they reproduce materials as part of their works and must send the corresponding permissions to the journal.
    The editor, in any case, is free of any responsibility resulting from the author’s eventual violation of intellectual property rights.
  • Please add a brief curriculum (no more than 150 words) which reflects your affiliation (use Comments to the editor)
  • The text fulfills the bibliographic and stylistic requirements indicated in Norms for authors.
  • If you are applying to a section of the journal which is reviewed by pairs, you should make sure that the instructions in Guaranteeing a blind review are followed.

Privacy Statement

In accordance with organic law 3/2018, of December 5, on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights and with EU Regulation 2016/679, the data collected will be incorporated by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in the treatment "Service of Publications and Scientific Exchange" with the purpose of managing the authors and/or managers and users of the monographic works and journals edited by the Service of Publications and Scientific Exchange.

The body responsible for said treatment is the University of Santiago de Compostela with registered office at Praza do Obradoiro s/n, 15782, Santiago de Compostela.

The justification basis for this treatment is the consent expressed by the interested parties.

Interested persons can exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, treatment limitation, opposition and portability through the USC Electronic Office

They can also contact the Spanish Agency for Data Protection to make the claim they deem appropriate.

In the case of not providing consent, the data will not be processed, but the service cannot be offered.

The data will be kept for the period in which the purpose for which they were collected is carried out, or the time necessary to comply with legal obligations. Once the purpose has been fulfilled, the data that are not part of the provision of the public service will be blocked until the applicable limitation periods have elapsed.
