Abstract

This article presents research focuses on the professional profiles of Educational psychologist (psycho- pedagogy). The main objective of this study is to provide an empirical approach to the degree of adjustment in the students on their competence profile, the assessment of them based on the importance they offer, and professional fields to those who seek to direct their efforts to enter in the labour market. Hence, datas and results obtained are highly relevant to outline strategic actions that allow the adjustment of labour demands and academic-professional training acquired, during their university studies. The targets studied are understood to be 2nd year students of the Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychologist, whose sample was 64 students (81,5% female and 18,5% male), with an average age of 25,38 years. From the research results it can be noted that one of the key areas for job placement of Educational Psychologist students, is education, however, at competence level, they do not possess an adequate level of acquisition to enter the labour market.
