Abstract

This article aims to highlight the importance of nonverbal communication (NVC) in didactic contexts. The issue is divided in two parts: the first discusses the rol of the NVC of the teacher in teachinglearning processes; the second are some of the skills, in the area of this communication, that a teacher must possess to be able to carry out more effective teaching. These focus on the control of: a) the space and distance; b) the body and body language.
