Resumen

Los mercados pesqueros de primera venta en Galicia ocupan un lugar destacado en la red comercial, siendo la merluza europea (Merluccius merluccius) una de las especies más representativas. Por lo tanto, puede resultar  de especial interés analizar para este caso las relaciones comerciales entre los agentes participantes en los canales de distribución y el mecanismo de formación de precios de los productos pesqueros. En este trabajo pretenden caracterizarse las relaciones de precios a lo largo de la cadena de distribución de la merluza europea en fresco en el mercado español, centrándolo en el eslabón lonjas-mayoristas. La aplicación de metodología econométrica nos permite obtener resultados significativos y poner de manifiesto las relaciones de precios a corto y largo plazo.
