Abstract
In this historical moment characterized by the globalization of the economy, consumption and cultures, "globalization” of democracies could represent a new challenge, centered on dialogue and overcoming the fear of others.
The current phenomenon of nomadism, characterized by wide phenomena of emigration and immigration is a matter of great cultural change that exerts profound changes in families and educational institutions.
It is in this context that education can leverage on multilingualism as an important pedagogical device for it’s own projects, as an important first element for the formation of a mind that is not monocultural.
