Abstract

The aristocratic knowledge and praxis of the visual arts in the 18th Century Spain is a part of the subject of several historical sources, which changed or continued the basis developed in precedent Centuries. A number of treatises on elite’s pedagogy, but even the study programs of the most important institutions for the noble’s education in the country, show the headlines of the knowledge and exercise of visual arts that had become one of the most outstanding cultural characterizing features of the aristocratic class.
