Abstract

This article analyses Eugenio F. Granell’s journalism on the radio station “La Voz de Guatemala”. Attention is paid to the changes that occurred in the content of these broadcasts, which were originally political in nature and gradually became exclusively cultural. The article focuses on the critique of art, relevant because Granell simultaneously developed it in other media, while he explored plastic language and integrated into the Guatemalan cultural environment, featuring the AGEAR group and Skar-Ti, and from which he was dissociated due to his ideological clashes that forced him to flee the country.
