Abstract

The objective of the research was to evaluate the development of interpersonal skills in an innovative process of training that included recreational and group activities. The research question was: What are interpersonal skills developed through training for adults using a method of instruction based on the implementation of recreational and group techniques? The research methodology that was used, was the study of instrumental multiple cases and evaluative cut, under the qualitative paradigm. The instruments used for data collection were: the interview, observation and the application of questionnaires. Be worked with staff of two units that provide social assistance in the city of Campeche, Campeche. The first group was composed of 18 people, and the second in 11. The results indicated that employ a method of instruction which included activities of this kind in training processes, regardless of enable to achieve learning outcomes in a fun way, encourages the development of individual interpersonal skills (CII) and social (CIS), in such a way that the person will be more conscious about herself, also strengthen his vision of teamwork to identify new ways of communicating with the people and improve their relations. It was also detected that aspects such as the decision making capacity and adequacy are not strengthened in the case of the CII as well as assertiveness. A CIS, nor is impacted in a manner directly.
