On Meaning and Measuring: A philosophical and historical View
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper just tries to revisit the view on meaning, and particularly in meaningless statements, hold by the thinkers inscribed in the famous "Vienna Circle". It is done under the typically scientific form of measuring empirically adquired concepts that can be considered in the same tradition of the Circle. In addition, it also contains some historical notes, as well as some related reflexions on Karl Menger's thought on the lack of a suitable geometry for the microworld.
