This paper aims to analyze the presence of Spanish plastic arts in Correo Literario, founded in 1943 by Lorenzo Varela, Arturo Cuadrado and Luis Seoane in Buenos Aires. This journal became an instrument for the diffusion of Spanish art in Latin America and must be included a group of journals by exiled artists such as De mar a mar or Cabalgata in the Argentine field, and Romance and Las Españas in Mexico.
