The effect of socioeconomic factors, fear of crime and social mobilization on the evaluation of judiciary decisions

Resumen
Los delitos relacionados con abusos sexuales o violaciones generan grandes movilizaciones sociales. Ese fue el caso de la banda denominada "la manada". Cómo influyen las secuelas de las movilizaciones sociales y los factores socioeconómicos en la percepción de seguridad y la percepción de justicia, medida como decisiones judiciales, son los objetivos de este estudio. Se obtuvo una muestra aleatoria recogida en dos fases (N=605). La primera (N1=454) se realizó tras la sentencia judicial del caso. Una segunda oleada (N2=151) aconteció cuatro meses después, disminuida la alarma social. La percepción de seguridad aumentó tras los momentos álgidos de las movilizaciones sociales. La confianza en la justicia fue baja y disminuyó tras las movilizaciones sociales. Los mayores niveles de ingresos muestran una percepción de justicia mayor. La percepción de seguridad disminuye durante las movilizaciones sociales, si bien mejora en poco tiempo. Los efectos sobre la percepción de justicia duran más tiempo.
