Heidegger y la tarea de la traducción

Abstract

Heidegger’s language has been often accused of being esoteric and violent for its excessive search for authenticity, its use of archaisms, its lack of internal coherence and its terminological innovations. In this sense, his jargon presents a difficulty as well as a translation challenge, which become considerably more difficult when dealing with poetic and philosophical language. The present essay focuses on two issues: on the one hand, it offers a short presentation of the peculiarities of Heidegger’s language and, on the other hand, it shows some of his contributions to the field of translation studies.
