Abstract
During the Atlantic voyages the Spanish devoted themselves to the American devotions, through their images, to request help before the shipwrecks happened in the sea. In this scene miracles would take place thanks to their intermediations, circumstances that would appreciated by those involved visiting the sanctuaries of the veras efigies.
