La política cultural en la comunidad autónoma gallega: de la dependencia a la autonomía

Abstract

Our analysis will focus on the development of a comprehensive framework in order to explain the main patterns of development for cultural policies in Galicia, since the beginning of political autonomy and the institutionalization of regional government in the 80´S, till its present development and consolidation. The framework for analysis will seek to explain the performance of the actor´s network and its main ways of relations and interactions, with special focus on the impact of the consolidation of the regional government as a central institution for change in cultural policy and development of new forms for relation between principal actors. Also, our framework will provide some explanations for main differences regarding Spanish state cultural policies or cultural policies in other regions. Finally our analysis will evaluate objectives, contents and results of cultural policies in Galicia.
