Abstract

Birth is a great rich process in human meaning which needs a careful attention on moral, anthropological, social and pedagogical level. The transformation of a married couple into parents, the changing from man/woman into father/mother, the educational responsibilities building intra- and inter-familiar dynamics call for a new view of the birth event. Birth is, as a matter of fact, rich in symbolical and relational potential, it must be explored under this new- research light up to now excluded by a scientifical-medical view or by positivistical models
