Mentalidad religiosa y comportamientos sociales en la Galicia atlántica (1550-1850)

Abstract

The aim of our doctoral thesis has been focused on analysing the characteristics and evolution of entury. This was a good opportunity to check how the triumph of religious behaviour in the Atlantic Galicia -diocese of Santiago and Tui- during XVI-XIX centuries the Counter-Reformation took place. This triumph set a religious model which would only be belatedly eroded as a consequence of the combined action of internal and external factors.
