Abstract

Since the end of the last century, we have witnessed the pronounced process of transformation, dispersion and heterogenization that has affected contemporary borders. This phenomenon has led to the proliferation of numerous studies that have attempted to explain it from diverse foucauldians conceptual categories. This paper aims to bring together some of these lines of research, showing the way in which -drawing largely from studies deployed around the notion of security- the latter have led to more or less resignifying analyzes of the modern concept of the border, linked to the idea of the delimitation of the national state.
