Abstract

After summarizing its general guidelines and starting from the problematization of a model example, this article aims to test a critique of the bayesian version of the theory of individual decision and the notion of subjectivity isolated from the context it adopts within the framework of its individualistic matrix. It does so from a perspective, built on the basis of various contributions from feminist epistemology, that calls for an analysis of how unequal power relations and androcentric mandates affect the configuration of the desires and beliefs of people who suffer experiences of subordination, conditioning - in extreme cases invalidating - their margins of choice and action.
