Abstract
Departing from a historic-structural approach, this research articulates the global and the microeconomic levels to produce a diagnosis on the emergence of a cinema production pole in the second city of Mexico. It is shown the birth of a productive district of the audiovisual industry in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, México.
