Abstract
territorial debe adoptar maior protagonismo no estudo do mercado de traballo. Coa pretensión
de profundar no coñecemento sobre as diferenzas territoriais, neste ensaio, proponse un modelo
de localización do desemprego que facilite unha información desagregada baseada na
segmentación do espazo xeográfico. A análise da repartición espacial do desemprego permitirá
caracterizar o mercado de traballo servindo de ferramenta para o deseño de políticas públicas.

Title: Spatial analysis of unemployment in Spanish local labor markets
Abstract: Regional differences are important. They reveal that the level of territorial
disaggregation needs to adopt a greater role in the study of the labor market. In order to gain
insight into territorial differences, this essay suggests a model to locate unemployment, so as to
provide disaggregate information based on the division of the geographical space. The analysis
of the spatial distribution of unemployment allows for the description of the labor market,
acting as a tool to design public policies.
