Abstract

The Laudato si’ on the care of the common home encyclical highlights the educational need to establish a positive relationship with the environment, the common heritage of all humanity and whose integrity depends on our quality of life. Educating the human for a harmonious management of nature and its resources, implies a collective awareness for responsible practices of the planet’s life, that is a habitable place for everyone.

Symbolic reference to the Universal Exhibition Expo 2015 Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life nell’avvalorare the meeting between the cultural diversity in relation to the food traditions of living as the world mode. Task of environmental education is to identify, in consultation with the political and the economic and financial dimension, and outline innovative courses of action for the treatment of the common home.
The encyclical promotes an open and fruitful dialogue between human cultures to feed the world and the vision of a way of life conscious, respectful and sympathetic, fed by an ecological spirituality.
