Portugal-España: la difusión del arte contemporáneo

Abstract

This analysis of the main institutions disseminating contemporary art in Spain and Portugal assesses the changesboth countries have undergone since the return of democracy and the exchange partnerships establishedbetween them. It also examines the contribution and sphere of activity of Portugal’s art infrastructures and theway in which they operate - factors that lie at the basis of the asymmetrical relationships observed between bothcountries. In addition, it looks at the conditions of the artistic agents which result in close or distant relationships.
